The only oil control serum formulated by biochemist Dr. Loren Pickart of Skin Biology - Balance Zone contains a mixture of peptides from hydrolyzed soy protein, salicylic acid, cinnamon bark extracts, blended with natural antioxidants. Oily skin is relieved with the use of pH balanced salicylic acid (an oil soluble hydroxy acid that helps unclog pores to quickly clear skin complexion*). Soy peptides further purify your skin, visibly reducing skin oiliness and sheen.
*NOTE: Hydrolyzed soy protein used in this product is non-GMO. It is obtained from soybeans and is then broken down by water to form a complex that is not harmful. Hydrolyzed soy protein used in Skin Biology products is not genetically modified.
Directions for Use: Shake Well. Apply 3-4 drops once or twice a day on freshly cleansed skin.
The use of hydroxy acid exfoliators such as Exfol Serum or LacSal Serum in the evening may encourage skin cell turnover for a more even complexion.
I tried Exfol Serum first (along w/Super GHK) and was some improvement - but I think overall too strong - causing too much reaction. But after reading the info on Balance Zone, I tried it. It works best for me re T-Zone clogged pore issue. I just cleanse and then apply am and pm - followed by Emu Oil (which I consider essential).
