The Power of Retinol: Retinol is one of those magical vitamins with a long history of improving skin quality. Replenishment of protective skin lipids becomes more important with time but decline after age 50. This is a major factor in the skin becoming rough, dry, and vulnerable to damage. The 0.6% Retinol is the maximum that can be used without irritation. Retinol in Squalane quickly penetrates the skin and adds vital vitamin A to nourish your dry and chapped skin areas exactly where help is needed.

USAGE: For best results, use as directed below

After cleansing the skin, apply a light amount of your favorite copper-peptide product, such as Super GHK-Cream, Skin Signals Solution, Super CP Serum, or Super Cop Cream.

Number2After copper-peptides have penetrated, a light amount of Retinol in Squalane can be used on top as a moisturizer and penetrating agent to increase efficacy.

HOW IT'S DIFFERENT:
Squalane and squalene are two very similar lipids and compose 15% of skin fats during teenage years but decline to about 5% after age 50. This is a major factor in the skin becoming rough, dry, and vulnerable to damage. Of the two compounds, squalane is more stable and preferred for skin use.

For thousands of years, fishermen from Scandinavia, Japan, and the South Pacific have used fish fats rich in squalane/squalene for the skin of their faces and hands after irritation by salt water. Naturally these lipids are found in several foods such as plant oils (especially olive and wheat germ), meats, and some fish oils as well as in human sebum. The richest source of this squalane/squalene is a breed of shark that lives in deep waters off the island of Okinawa. In 1916, a Japanese Chemist, Tsujimoto Mitsumaru, isolated and documented squalane in the liver oil of the family of fatty shark called Squalidae. Due to over fishing these sharks have become endangered. Today, Squalane from olive oil is mainly used.

Retinyl palmitate enhances the moisturizing action of squalane and helps visibly increase skin thickness, restoring a supple and vibrant skin complexion.

IMPORTANT TIPS:

Retinol in Squalane also works as a great penetrating agent to control or moderate the strength of strong products.

Apply a light amount of Retinol in Squalane after applying copper peptides to increase efficacy and make the cream/serum stronger. As it tries to go into the skin, when applied on top it will help push down more of the copper-peptides, thus making it stronger.

Apply a light amount of Retinol in Squalane before applying copper-peptides to make the cream/serum milder. Basing the skin first with a light amount of Retinol in Squalane will serve to slow down the penetration rate of the copper-peptide cream, thus making it milder.

I apply this around my eyes after using my copper peptides; I also use it on my neck as a "speed moisturizer" and neck smoother if I don't have time for my Two-Timing Tightener!  A little goes a long way.

This stuff is magic in a bottle April 6, 2015

Let me just say I am a skin junkie and have tried thousands of products out on the market ranging in all price ranges. I never even knew of Skin Biology Products until my friend gave me the Lactic Power 10 and I started using it and saw a transformation on my skin immediately. I also purchased Retinol in Squalane and this stuff makes my skin illuminate. I had a woman in my class come up to me and asked what I use on my skin because it glows. I actually got a facial once and the lady asked what type of moisturizer I use because she said my skin in very hydrated.Highly recommend this product if you want to get that Halle Berry radiance. I used Dermalogica for awhile which is SO Expensive and definitely not as good. This stuff is the real deal and I never write reviews unless I feel the stuff actually works.
