Since the skin is in layers and damage can exist in layers, Exfol Cream
is an excellent method of exfoliation to be used along with copper
peptides for improved results.
AM: After cleansing the skin, apply a light amount of your
favorite copper-peptide product. The application should be so light that
it just barely covers the area without leaving it excessively heavy with product.
PM: After cleansing the skin, follow up with a light application of Exfol Cream.
HOW IT'S DIFFERENT:
Exfol Cream contains salicylic acid, an effective beta hydroxy acid (BHA) that has been used successfully for year.
Beta Hydroxy Acids are soluble in oil and penetrate the skin better than Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) such as glycolic acid.
Due to their solubility and efficient exfoliating action, BHAs are ideal both for oily skin types and mature skin.
In mature skin, BHAs seem to actively diminish the appearance of wrinkles and skin discolorations*, especially when used together with copper peptides.
In oily skin, BHAs seem to tone and balance skin complexion and pores.
In addition to salicylic acid, Dr. Pickart's exclusive Exfol Cream contains squalane (nature's perfect emollient) to soften skin to make it physically smoother. Moisturizing aloe vera soothes irritation, ensuring gentle exfoliating action. And our powerful antioxidant blend (which includes lutein, co-enzyme Q10, and mixed tocopherols) works to soothe skin and replenishes its own antioxidant reserve.
Use regularly for a more refreshed skin tone and appearance.
NOTE: Leading dermatologist, Dr. Albert Kligman, believed BHAs (in particular salicylic) to be extremely effective when compared with AHAs for anti-aging.
Professor Kligman is well known in dermatology for his research on the anti-aging actions of retinoic acid.
